Apitraz Synthetic amidine

Apitraz is a synthetic treatment for the control of Varroa destructor mites in honeybee hives.

Note:

  • This product is permitted for use in Australia.

  • It must be used in accordance with the permit conditions, which over-ride the overseas label.

Conditions for use DO NOT use in a honey flow or when supers are present (Schedule 6 Poison)
DO NOT place supers until 14 DAYS post strip removal
Withholding period (WHP) Honey: Honey collected from hives within 14 days following removal of treatment must not be used or processed for human consumption.

DO NOT SELL COMB HONEY, ROYAL JELLY or PROPOLIS
DO NOT recycle brood frames for use in supers
DO NOT extract honey from the brood box
