Rebecca Sloan

National Pollination Coordinator

I have grown up on the land, growing up on a broad acre farm, dairy farming for 10 years, and have moved into horticulture about 10 years ago as a vegetable grower. My previous role was as field officer for Stone and Pome fruit, developing a strong understanding of the requirements to grow a successful crop. My family are also recreational beekeepers, so I have been able to develop an understanding of how both beekeepers and the pollination dependent industries need to work together to succeed.
